Damask is a tastefully styled specialty cocktail house serving tantalising mezze plates til late. Inside you’ll find gilded mirrors, textured wallpaper and a rose-lit bar emanating a romantic edge. High bench style seating in the casual bar area is ideal for larger groups but for more snug soiree, snag one of black leather booths or a blushing pink armchair in the seductive lounge. Damask’s fully decked rooftop courtyard is sure to lure local barflies come summer. You can snack and sup in the expansive alfresco area til well into the evening or share a jug of Damask’s ‘Lemonade Love’ punch in the sun. Otherwise, order a bowl of moreish Middle Eastern oven-roasted nuts to nibble on. There’s a quality list of Australian wines, but cocktails are definitely the go here. Try the signature ‘Damaskon’ with watermelon, vodka mint and lime; or the in-house favourite ‘Princess Jasmine’ for a tea infused concoction of jasmine, mint, gin and mandarin liqueur.
