Show me a city bar where I won’t be packed in like a sardine. Well, we’re not promising anything but with three bar levels at CBD to choose from, you won’t be hard-pressed to find a spot.
What’s the look? Slick, functional Ground Bar is suit heaven; the upstairs Sports Bar is a great spot to shoot some pool, and the classy Club Bar surroundings are perfect if you and your posse are craving a little couch-time.
Who’s hanging out here? A quintessential post-work crowd – and those who aren’t here to debrief are probably trying to pick up!
What should I be sipping? The usual pub fare: beers on tap, mixer drinks or cocktails such as the Berry Caprioska, Apple Sour or revived favourite, the Cosmopolitan.
I’m a bit peckish... Park yourself in the posh bistro or order bar snacks – the menu’s packed with options such as Thai beef stirfry, Penang fish curry and Porcini lasagne.
Wow factor? Live music in the Ground Bar on Wednesday evenings.
