Siglo

Siglo

The look: Actually the rooftop extension of Melbourne’s iconic Supper Club, Siglo sticks to the European theme – in this case resembling an alfresco Roman trattoria.
To drink: If you’ve come with a thirst for old world wines then you won’t be disappointed. The list is brief compared to the tome downstairs but it still spans everywhere from Alsace to Rioja. Though easily overlooked, there’s also a neat selection of classic cocktails and craft beers. To eat: Feel like savouring rare delicacies? Or scoffing childhood favourites? No matter, you can do both. Foie gras, caviar and jamon share the menu with party pies and sausage rolls without a hint of contradiction.
The crowd: Quite a few Spring Street elites, so don’t worry about changing into your civvies for after work drinks.
Best for: Spending that bonus. There are magnums and jeroboams of French fizz if you want to share the joy and a fine cigar collection for more self-congratulation.
