La Di Da

The Look:  Oriental luxe with quirky touches, La Di Da encompasses several different spaces including a Chesterfield lounge, basement cocktail bar and portrait gallery alcove. Crimson drapes and jade ceilings are joined by diamond bracelet chandeliers.
The great outdoors: La di da’s ground floor bar backs right on to the laneway cafe area allowing for easy access during al fresco drinks.
To drink: Peruse the concise cocktail list, order a pint or Asahi or clink a couple of flutes filled with Pol Roger.
To eat: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner most days, there’s usually some form of sustenance on offer.  Snacks include Moreton Bay bugs and Moroccan lamb cutlets. Meanwhile, bigger appetites can get an iron boost with the Popeye pizza (featuring spinach, of course) or a porterhouse steak.
The crowd: Ensconced within the business end of town, corporate types prevail during the week. Best for: Bunking off work early for drinks with colleagues.
